پروفسور نرمان فینکلستاین یکی از چندین چهره هاست نرمان فینکستاین ، متولد سال ۱۹۵۳ ( ۱۳۳۲ ) در آمریکا است . او یک دانشمند سیاسی آمریکایی ، فعال ، استاد دانشگاه و نویسنده است ، تحقیقات اولیه او در مورد جنگ بین اسرائیل و فلسطین و همچنین سیاست های هولوکاست بوده است.
نرمان فینکلستاین در تعدادی از دانشگاههای ایالات متحده تدریس داداشت ، اما به دلیل نقطه نظرات و مخالفت هایش از سال ۲۰۰۸ممنوع التدریس شده است.
از سال ۲۰۰۸ به مدت ده سال نیز به کشور اسرائیل ممنوع الورود بوده است .
فینکلستاین بیش از ده کتاب را تالیف کرده است که موضوع اکر آنها در رابطه با فلسطین می باشد ، این کتابها به پنجاه زبان ترجمه شده اند.
پارلی پرس نرمان فینکلستاین در گفتگوی اختصاصی با آرمان کرمان گفت: اعتقادات و نظارت من تاثیرات کم و بیشی مورد نیاز داشته است، البته در برخی مناطق کمتر.
وی با اشاره به سال تحصیلی ۲۰۱۳ _ ۲۰۱۴ که در دانشگاه خاورمیانه زکریا در ترکیه تدریس داشته است؛ تصریح کرد: الان به خانه ام نیویورک بازگشته ام ، اما تدریس نمی کنم چون کسی من را استخدام نمی کند.
فینکلستاین در مورد استخدامش تاکید کرد: روسا واهمه دارند که حضور من در دانگشاه باعث پدید آمدن مشکلاتی می شود و همچنین شکایاتی از بالا دستها بوجود می آید.
مولف آمریکایی در پایان گفت: در حال حاضر مشغول نوشتن هستم که به نظرم بسیار کند پیش می رود.

He taught in a number of universities in the U.S, but due to his viewpoint and contradictions he was denied teaching at university in 2008. In the year 2008 he was banned from entering Israel for ten years. It may be because he seems to be a main threat to the country
In the academic year 2014_2015 he taught at Sakarya University Middle East Institution Turkey. He has written over ten books mainly about his studies on Palestine and Israel which are translated into more than 50 languages
Finkelstein’s public feud with jurist and academic figure Alan Dershowitz ( an American lawyer, jurist and author who is a scholar on United States Constitutional Law and Criminal Law) lasted for years and had a negative effect on Finkelstein’s academic career
In a very brief interview with the Parleypress Norman Finkelstein said: I’ve had some impact around the world, but, except for the Arab-Muslim world, I would say it hasn’t been significant
By mentioning that he is now back home in New York, he acknowledged: I am not teaching. No one will hire me

He continued about his current work: I am trying to do some writing, but it comes very slowly at my mage
